Billboard ha stilato la classifica degli artisti che hanno venduto più album negli ultimi 10 anni e Britney Spears si trova alla posizione numero 2#. La Reginetta del Pop è l'unica artista femminile presente nella Top 10 ed è l'unica artista Pop. Ovviamente la maggior parte delle vendite di "...Baby One More Time" non sono state contate perchè appartengono al decennio precedente. Congratulazioni Britney!

Per Britney Spears non c’è tregua. I giornalisti, oltre a seguirla ovunque anche nei momenti privati della sua vita in cui nessuno vorrebbe essere fotografato, mettono in giro stupide voci sul suo conto. Da molto, infatti, si parla di una separazione fra lei ed il suo manager, nonché fidanzato, Jason Trawick. La coppia era stata avvistata insieme in Australia, dove la pop star si trovava in tournee. Le male voci dicono che lui se ne sia tornato a LA prima del previsto, lasciando la sua amata da sola. Tutto ciò sarebbe dovuto al fatto che lei abbia chiesto a lui di sposarla per l’ennesima volta. Ma una fonte vicino alla coppia ha spiegato: “E’ al 100% assolutamente falso. Non c’è mai stata nessuna proposta e non si sono mai ufficialmente fidanzati. Jason ha trascorso molto più tempo del previsto in Australia con Britney. Loro sono davvero felici”.

I ben informati fanno sapere che Britney Spears & pronta ad entrare in sala d’incisione per registrare il nuovo album.

Lady GaGa ha recentemente confermato che Telephone, brano contenuto in The Fame Monster e cantato in duetto con Beyoncé, era stata scritta l’anno scorso per Britney Spears ma che questa non ha accettato la canzone per il suo album Circus.
